Sony announced in one of their tweets on 25th of Nov 2024 that they are about to introduce more PlayStation 5 units to the retailers and it’s all going to happen before the end of this year. Which mean, you’ll once again have an opportunity to buy the PlayStation 5 units on this holiday season.
The PlayStation 5 is the most demanded and unpredictably the best selling console this year and the PlayStation company said in their Wednesday tweet that “Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year“. Also, they have mentioned that “Stay in touch with you local retailers” which mean that there will be limited units supplied to the retailers. Sony also thanked the gamers worldwide in the same tweet for making the launched event one of the their biggest events and that’s the reason that the PS5 sales sky scrapped just in a matter of minutes. This time they are also supplying the limited units to online retailers like BestBuy, eBay, etc. and the price is still ranging from $1000 – $1500.
The Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO also mentioned a few days ago that “Everything is sold, Absolutely everything is sold”. He also mentioned that he’s trying his best and spending more time in increasing the supplies to overcome this demand.
